Grounds are gorgeous, accomodation nicely furnished and comfortable , and the restaurant is superb. But the cold breakfast provided in the rooms is tacky and housekeeping leaves much to be desired including dirty crockery in the rooms which should be unacceptable on hygiene grounds. With so much unemployment in the area, one wonders why this area should be so sloppy.
Amazing experience. The sangiovese cottage was a fantastic place to spend our anniversary. We loved everything about it. The prepared breakfast in the fridge reheated perfectly and was a nice treat as we could eat our breakfast on our terms. It was delicious, and the privacy we received while still being tended to was superb. Do not expect room service, but do expect a truly romantic vacation.
